ORDINANCE NO. 790

 

 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 7 OF ORDINANCE NO. 89, PERTAINING TO THE PUBLIC LIBRARY.

 

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 That Section 7 of Ordinance No. 89, as amended, shall be and the same hereby is amended to read as follows:

 

 "Section 7. PUBLIC LIBRARY FREE.

 

 The said public library shall be free to the use of the residents of the City of Grand Junction, and to the residents of the County of Mesa, and the members of their immediate families, who pay taxes upon property located within the City of Grand Junction subject to such reasonable rules and regulations as the Board of Directors shall adopt in order to render the use of the said library and reading room of the greatest use and benefit to the greatest number."

 

 Passed and adopted this 18th day of May, 1949.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 790 was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 4th day of May, A. D. 1949, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
