ORDINANCE NO. 813

 

 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR SPECIAL APPROPRIATIONS

 

 WHEREAS, Since the 1950 budget was passed and adopted, additional expenses have been incurred by the necessity of having to purchase a new fountain at Moyer Pool and for improvements to the Recreational Center on the west side of the City, both of which were unforseen and arose after the passage of the annual appropriation ordinance:

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 Section 1. That there be and is hereby appropriated out of the General Funds of the City the sum of Four Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($4,400.00).

 

 Section 2. That there be and is hereby appropriated out of the unexpended balance in the Moyer Pool Fund to the Moyer Pool budget the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00).

 

 Passed and adopted this 4th day of October, 1950.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 813 was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body, held on the 20th day of September, 1950, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
