ORDINANCE NO. 818

 

 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 481, AS AMENDED, AND ENLARGING THE FIRE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION SO AS TO INCLUDE, COVER AND REGULATE THE CONSTRUCTION OR MOVING INTO THE AREA ALONG BOTH SIDES OF NORTH AVENUE OF ANY BUILDINGS USED FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES.

 

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 Section 1. That Chapter III of Ordinance No. 481, as amended, shall be and the same is hereby amended, by adding thereto Section 17 (a), which said Section shall read as follows:

 

 Section 17 (a). Fire Limits. All that portion of the City of Grand Junction lying along both sides of North Avenue which is now or may hereafter be designated and zoned as a Business District, shall be included in the Fire Limits of the City of Grand Junction, and any commercial building or structure which is hereafter constructed or moved into the said area shall comply with all requirements for buildings located in the Fire Zone, as provided in this Ordinance.

 

 Passed and adopted this 20th day of December, 1950.
