ORDINANCE NO. 836

 AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 WHEREAS a petition to annex the property hereinafter described to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, was filed with the City Clerk and considered by the City Council on February 21, 1951, and

 WHEREAS the said City Council at that time found the said territory to be eligible for annexation, the petition to be signed by the required number of land owners, and all other requirements of Section 2 of Chapter 314, Session Laws of Colorado, 1947, to be satisfactorily complied with; and

 WHEREAS the City Council did accept and approve the said petition for annexation by its Resolution dated February 21, 1951, and

 WHEREAS notice of the filing of said petition has been published once each week for four publications in the Daily Sentinel, the first publication being on February 26, 1951, and the last publication being on March 19, 1951; and

 WHEREAS thirty days have elapsed after the first publication of the said notice and no counter-petition or written objection to the said annexation has been filed with the City Clerk of the City of Grand Junction;

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 That the said annexation is approved and that the following described property shall be and it is hereby declared to be annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado:

 All of Medical Arts Addition as shown by the recorded plat thereof on file in the office of the County Clerk and Recorder of Mesa County, Colorado, more particularly described as follows:

 The West 450 feet of all that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section Eleven (11) Township One (1) South, Range One (1) West of the Ute Meridian, which lies East of the center line of the County Road, said County Road being an extension of North Seventh Street of the City of Grand Junction, in Mesa County, Colorado.

 Passed and adopted this 18th day of April, 1951.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance, being Ordinance No. 836, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 4th day of April, 1951, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
