ORDINANCE NO. 853
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING LARCENY AND THE BUYING AND RECEIVING OF STOLEN GOODS AND PROVIDING A PENALTY THEREFOR.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
Section 1. LARCENY OR BUYING AND RECEIVING STOLEN GOODS. That larceny or the buying or receiving goods or other things obtained by larceny, burglary or robbery, knowing the same to have been so obtained, in all cases where the money or the value of the thing stolen, bought or received does not exceed Fifty Dollars, is hereby prohibited.
Section 2. Any person who is convicted of the above offense shall be fined not less than Ten Dollars nor more than Three Hundred Dollars.
