ORDINANCE NO. 860

 

 AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF THIRD AVENUE AND THE ALLEY OF BLOCK 15 OF MILLDALE SUBDIVISION AND THE ALLEY OF BLOCK 16 OF MILLDALE SUBDIVISION OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.

 

 Section 1. That portion of Third Avenue of Milldale Subdivision lying East of the East line of Eleventh Street and West of the West line of Twelfth Street be and the same is hereby vacated, reserving to the City of Grand Junction at all times the right to construct, maintain, and remove sewers, water mains and gas mains and appurtenances, and to authorize the construction, maintenance and removal of the same therein and therefrom, and subject to the continued right of owners to maintain and operate existing mains and pipes.

 

 Section 2. That the alley running East and West in Block 15 in Milldale Subdivision and the alley running East and West in Block 16 in Milldale Subdivision be and they are hereby vacated.

 

 Passed and adopted this 21st day of May, 1952.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 860 was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 7th day of May, 1952, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
