ORDINANCE NO. 871
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4, OF ORDINANCE NO. 221, ALSO BEING SECTION 10 OF THE 1952 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, RELATING TO THE BUILDING OF FIRES AND POSTING AND PAINTING OF BILLS AND ADVERTISEMENTS IN PARKS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
That Section 4 of Ordinance No. 221, also being Section 10 of Chapter 14 of the 1952 Compiled Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 10, BUILDING OF FIRES AND POSTING OF BILLS AND ADVERTISEMENTS. The building of fires, the posting of any bills or advertisements, or painting or making any advertisements, names, pictures, characters or signs of any description on any object or thing whatsoever within or connected with any of said parks is hereby prohibited, except that the City Council may permit posting or painting of advertisements in the Baseball Field in Lincoln Park under such terms and conditions as the City Council shall prescribe.
