ORDINANCE NO. 888
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17 CHAPTER 85 OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
Section 1. That Section 17 of Chapter 85 of the "1953 Compiled Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado," being Section 16 of Ordinance No. 479 be and it is hereby amended by adding thereto the following: "radio receiving set" as used in this and the preceding section should be deemed to include television receivers.
Section 2. The City Council hereby finds that a special emergency exists; that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety and that it should take effect upon passage.
Passed and adopted this 3rd day of March, 1954.
