ORDINANCE NO. 897
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR SPECIAL APPROPRIATIONS.
WHEREAS, since the 1954 Budget was passed and adopted, additional expenses have been incurred or are contemplated for the construction of a filter plant at Moyer Pool, for the construction of an air conditioning system in the Public Library, for the installation of natural gas and equipment in the Lincoln Park Auditorium, for the purchase of a right of way for the construction of Federal Aid Project No. F 001-1(8) and State Highway No. 4 and for storm sewer construction, and for water main extensions:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
Section 1. That there be and is hereby appropriated out of the unexpended general funds of the City, the following amounts:
a. To the Lincoln Park Department | $850.00

b. To the Highway Department | $14,000.00 |
Section 2. That there be and is hereby appropriated out of the unexpended balance of the Moyer Pool Fund to the Moyer Pool Appropriation the amount of $12,500.00;
Section 3. That there be and is hereby appropriated out of the unexpended balance of the Library Fund to the Library Fund Appropriation the amount of $2,000.00;
Section 4. That there be and is hereby appropriated out of the unexpended balance of the Waterworks Fund to the sub-department of Watermain Extension of the Water Department the amount of $20,000.00.
