ORDINANCE NO. 920
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 46 OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, RELATING TO PARKING METERS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.
Section 1. Section 5 of Chapter 46 of the 1953 Compiled Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado (Section 5, Ordinance 742), is hereby amended by adding thereto at the end thereof the following:
except that the parking provisions herein contained shall be in force and effect at all hours and times including Sundays and holidays on the portions of Rood Avenue and Fourth Street in front of and at the side of Lots 27 through 32 of Block 96 of the City of Grand Junction, being the premises occupied by the United States Post Office.
Section 2. It is hereby declared that a special emergency exists, and that the immediate passage of this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety.
