ORDINANCE NO. 926

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF AN ALLEY IN BENTON CANON'S FIRST SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

 

 WHEREAS, the portion of alley hereinafter described is not being used for alley purposes; and

 

 WHEREAS, the vacation thereof would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof and would be beneficial to the interests of the public

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 That the portion of alley hereinafter described be and the same is hereby vacated:

 

Commencing at the Northeast Corner of Lot 9, Block 3, Benton Canon's First Subdivision in the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, thence East to the Northwest Corner of Lot 11, Block 3, thence South to the Southwest Corner of Lot 22, Block 3, thence West to the Southeast Corner of Lot 24, Block 3, thence North to the point of beginning.

 

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of August, 1955

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 926 was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 20th day of July, 1955, and the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
