ORDINANCE NO. 930
AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF UNATTACHED TRAILERS HAVING AN OVER ALL LENGTH OF 18 FEET OR MORE ON THE STREETS OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
Section 1. The following provision is hereby enacted to be known as Subdivision (e), Section 29 of Chapter 47 of the 1953 Compiled Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado:
(e) Except in cases of emergency, no person shall park upon any street any trailer or semi-trailer having an over all length of 18 feet or more which is detached from the unit used to propel such trailer or semi-trailer provided that this sub-section shall not apply to habitable automobile trailers, nor to trailers while being loaded or unloaded at a dock.
Section 2. A special emergency exists and the passage of the foregoing ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety.

I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT the foregoing emergency ordinance, entitled, AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF UNATTACHED TRAILERS HAVING AN OVER ALL LENGTH OF 18 FEET OR MORE ON THE STREETS OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY was introduced, read, passed, numbered 930 and ordered published by the unanimous vote of the members of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 21st day of September, 1955.
