ORDINANCE NO. 936

AN ORDINANCE VACATING PORTIONS OF ROOD AVENUE, WHITE AVENUE AND THE ALLEY BETWEEN ROOD AVENUE AND WHITE AVENUE IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 WHEREAS, the portions of Rood Avenue and White Avenue and the alley between White Avenue and Rood Avenue are not needed and will not be needed for roadway or alley purposes;

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 That the following described streets and alleys be and the same are hereby vacated:

That portion of Rood Avenue described as beginning at a point 141 feet West of the Southeast Corner of Lot 2 in Block 4 of Grand River Subdivision, thence West 134 feet, thence South 60 feet, thence East 134 feet, thence North 60 feet to the point of beginning.

All that portion of White Avenue lying West of the West line of West Street.

All that portion of the alley between Rood Avenue and White Avenue described as beginning at a point 141 feet West of the Southeast Corner of Lot 1 in Block 4 of Grand River Subdivision, thence West to the Southwest Corner of Lot 23 in Block 4 of Grand River Subdivision, thence South 20 feet, thence East to a point 20 feet South of the point of beginning, thence North 20 feet to the point of beginning.

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of October, 1955.
