ORDINANCE NO. 946
AN ORDINANCE VACATING STREETS, ALLEYS AND EASEMENTS IN HOULTON'S SUBDIVISION AND HOULTON'S RE-SUB-DIVISION.
WHEREAS, the land embraced within Houlton's Subdivision was later replatted as Houlton's Re-Sub-Division and was again replatted as Houlton's Second Replat; and
WHEREAS, the streets, alleys and easements and portions of streets, alleys and easements shown on the plat of Houlton's Subdivision and the plat of Houlton's Re-Sub-division, but not included as streets, alleys or easements in Houlton's Second Replat, are not being used and will not be used as streets, alleys or easements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
Section 1. That the streets, alleys and easements and portions of streets, alleys and easements which are shown in the plat of Houlton's Subdivision, filed in Plat Book 7 at Page 52 of the records of the County Clerk & Recorder of Mesa County, Colorado, and shown in the plat of Houlton's Re-Sub-Division, filed in Plat Book 8 at Page 49 of said records, except those portions thereof that are shown as streets, alleys and easements in Houlton's Second Replat filed in Plat Book 8 at Page 65 of said records, be and the same are hereby vacated.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 18th day of January, 1956.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 944 [946] was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 4th day of January, 1956, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
