ORDINANCE NO. 947
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A SPECIAL APPROPRIATION FROM THE MOYER POOL UNAPPROPRIATED FUNDS AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
WHEREAS, since the 1956 budget was passed and adopted, additional expenses are contemplated for improvements to Moyer Pool and facilities;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
Section 1. That there be appropriated from the Moyer Pool unappropriated funds for improvements to Moyer Pool and facilities the sum of $13,500.00.
Section 2. It is hereby declared that a special emergency exists, that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and that this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and be published within 3 days.
