ORDINANCE NO. 954
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR SWIMMING POOL CONSTRUCTION AND LAND FOR A NATIONAL GUARD ARMORY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
Section 1. There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the City to the Lincoln Park Pool Construction Fund the sum of $32,600.00 to be expended for swimming pool construction.
Section 2. There is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the City the sum of $5,000.00 for the purchase of land to be conveyed and to be the site of a National Guard armory.
Section 3. It is hereby declared that a special emergency exists, that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and that this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage and be published within three days.
