ORDINANCE NO. 972

 

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE OPERATION OF LINCOLN PARK POOL AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

 

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated from the Lincoln Park Pool receipts account the sum of $2,500.00 for the operation of Lincoln Park Pool during the year 1956.

 

 Section 2. It is hereby declared that a special emergency exists, that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and that this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.

 

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of August, 1956.
