ORDINANCE NO. 985

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF A STREET

 WHEREAS, the portion of street hereinafter described is not being used for street purposes; and

 WHEREAS, the vacation thereof would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof and would be beneficial to the interests of the public:

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 That the portion of street hereinafter described be and the same is hereby vacated:

13th Street between Pitkin Avenue and the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad Right of Way.

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of November, 1956.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 985 was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 7th day of November, 1956, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
