ORDINANCE NO. 990
AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING UNBUDGETED RECEIPTS OF THE RECREATION DEPARTMENT TO THE RECREATION DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION
WHEREAS, because of the necessity for providing a supplementary lunch program at the Junior High School, the Recreation Department of the City has incurred a budgetary deficit of $2,000.00; and,
WHEREAS, such lunch program has provided receipts for the Recreation Department in excess of the receipts anticipated when the budget was prepared and sufficient to defray the budgetary deficit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
That there be and there hereby is appropriated from the excess receipts of the Recreation Department the sum of $2,000.00 to the Recreation Department to defray the budgetary deficit of such Department.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 990 was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 19th of December, 1956, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
