ORDINANCE NO. 992

 

AN ORDINANCE MAKING IT UNLAWFUL TO INJURE, DESTROY OR REMOVE PROPERTY BELONGING TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION OR PERSONS IN THE CITY, WHICH ORDINANCE SHALL BE SECTION 43 OF CHAPTER 37 OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

 

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

 THAT Chapter 37 of the 1953 Compiled Ordinances be amended by adding thereto Section 43 as follows:

 

It shall be unlawful for any person to willfully, maliciously, wantonly, negligently, or otherwise, injure, deface, destroy or remove real property or improvements thereto, or movable or personal property, belonging to the City or to any person in the City.

 

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of January, 1957.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 992 was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 19th day of December, 1956, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
