ORDINANCE NO. 995
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 83 OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, AND THE ZONING MAP INCLUDING THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Chapter 83 of the 1953 Compiled Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, and the zoning map accompanying said ordinance, be and it is hereby amended by designating the district and changing the boundary lines so that:
All of that portion of the East quarter of the Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 12, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian, lying South of the Grand Valley Canal and platted as Block 3, Linda Lane Subdivision as amended, be classified as Residence "A".
Section 2. It is hereby declared that a special emergency exists, that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety, and that this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing emergency ordinance, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 83 OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, AND THE ZONING MAP INCLUDED THEREIN, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY," was introduced, read, passed and adopted as an emergency ordinance, numbered 995 and ordered published by the unanimous vote of the members of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 16th day of January, 1957.
