ORDINANCE NO. 999
AN ORDINANCE VACATING ALLEYWAYS IN CARPENTER'S SUBDIVISION NO. 1 IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.
WHEREAS, alleyways hereinafter described are not being used for alley purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the vacation thereof would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof and would be beneficial to the interests of the public;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
That the alleyways hereinafter described be and the same are hereby vacated.
1. Commencing at a point which is 50 feet East of the Southeast corner of Lot 13, Carpenter's Subdivision No. 1, City of Grand Junction, County of Mesa, State of Colorado, Thence in a northeasterly direction to a point which is 50 feet East of the Northeast corner of said Lot 13, thence East 20 feet to the Northwest corner of Lot 1 of said Subdivision, thence South 300 feet, more or less, to the Southwesterly corner of Lot 12, thence West 20 feet to point of beginning.
2. Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 13 of Carpenter's Subdivision No. 1 of the City of Grand Junction, County of Mesa, State of Colorado, Thence East 378 feet, thence South 12 feet, thence West 378 feet, thence North 12 feet to the point of beginning.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 999 was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 20th of February, 1957, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
