ORDINANCE NO. 1005

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING THAT 10-FOOT ALLEYWAY IMMEDIATELY EAST OF LOT 14 IN BOOKCLIFF MANOR SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 

 WHEREAS, the alleyway hereinafter described is not being used for alley purposes; and,

 

 WHEREAS, the vacation thereof would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof and would be beneficial to the interest of the public;

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 That the alleyway hereinafter described be, and the same is, hereby vacated.

 

That 10-foot alleyway immediately east of Lot 14 in Bookcliff Manor Subdivision in the City of Grand Junction.

 

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of May, 1957.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance being Ordinance No. 1005 was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 1st day of May, 1957, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
