ORDINANCE NO. 1008

AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING FIRE ZONES IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, AMENDING SECTION 16, CHAPTER 84, OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION.

 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 THAT Section 16 of Chapter 84 of the 1953 Compiled Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:

 Section 16. The Fire Zones as hereinafter set out shall be the Fire Zones within the City of Grand Junction, and building, alterations of buildings or movement of buildings into such Zones shall be in accordance with the Uniform Building Code and its amendments as adopted by the City Council.

 1. FIRE ZONE 1 -- Shall include all property classified under the zoning ordinance as "Business AR," "Business A," and "Business B."

 2. FIRE ZONE 2 -- Shall include all property classified under the zoning ordinance as "Industry A" and "Industry B."

 3. FIRE ZONE 3 -- Shall include all property classified under the zoning ordinance as "Residence A," "Residence B", "Residence C," "Residence D," "Residence E."
