ORDINANCE NO. 1009
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17 OF CHAPTER 84 OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
That Section 17 of Chapter 84 of the 1953 Compiled Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:
Section 17. RESTRICTION ON ACCUMULATION OR DISPOSITION OF WASTE MATERIAL.
It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to keep or permit to be kept or accumulate within the Fire Zones of the City of Grand Junction, any rubbish, loose packing straw, waste, loose excelsior, loose paper, paper or wood shavings, accumulations of waste wood, wood boxes, and waste paper boxes, or other readily inflammable material, except in fireproof rooms in buildings, or in fireproof boxes outside of the buildings; or to drop, throw or leave same in or on any lot, street passageway, roof, yard, or in any private or public place within Fire Zones of the said City.
