ORDINANCE NO. 1018

 

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A SPECIAL APPROPRIATION FOR WALKER FIELD AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION FROM UNAPPROPRIATED GENERAL FUNDS.

 

 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction in concert with the County of Mesa has heretofore set up a three year improvement program for Walker Field City-County Airport; and

 

 WHEREAS, since the preparation of the 1957 budget, unforeseen contingencies have arisen which demand that certain of the improvements be made in the year 1957, which formerly were to be made in the years 1957 and 1958, occasioning additional expenses to the City;

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 Section 1. That there be appropriated from General Fund unappropriated funds for airport improvements the sum of Eighty-one thousand six hundred ninety one dollars and ninety seven cents ($81,691.97.)

 

 Passed and adopted this 18th day of September, 1957.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1018 was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 4th day of September, 1957, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
