ORDINANCE NO. 1023

 

AN ORDINANCE INCLUDING FIFTH STREET, FROM NORTH AVENUE TO UTE AVENUE WITHIN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, INTO THE SAID CITY'S STREET SYSTEM.

 

 WHEREAS, the State Highway Commission of the State of Colorado has abandoned all portions of State Highway 6 on Fifth Street from North Avenue to Ute Avenue as a part of the state highway system;

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 That all portions of State Highway 6 on Fifth Street from North Avenue to Ute Avenue shall be a part of the street system of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, in accordance with Section 120-13-6, 1953 Colorado Revised Statutes.

 

 Passed and adopted this 6th day of November, 1957.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1023, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 16th day of October, 1957, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
