ORDINANCE NO. 1030

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING UNBUDGETED AIRPORT DEPOSIT MONIES TO THE AIRPORT BUDGET WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

 WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore authorized the City Manager to expend the Four Thousand Dollars ($4,000.00) deposited with the City by Monarch Aviation, Inc., and Clyde Davis and Grand Junction Aircraft, Inc. and Thomas Wilson, Marvin Hamlin and William J. Eberhart to insure the faithful payment of monies arising out of the sale of gasoline; and

 WHEREAS, it is necessary properly to appropriate said monies so that the airport budget may reflect the use of the same;

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 Section 1. That there be, and there hereby is, appropriated the sum of $4,000.00, the same being the deposit of Monarch Aviation, Inc., and Clyde Davis and Grand Junction Aircraft, Inc., and Thomas Wilson, Marvin Hamlin and William J. Eberhart to the airport budget within the general fund.

 Section 2. It is hereby declared that a special emergency exists; that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety; and that this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of December, 1957.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing emergency ordinance, entitled, AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING UNBUDGETED AIRPORT DEPOSIT MONIES TO THE AIRPORT BUDGET WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, was introduced, read, passed and adopted as an emergency ordinance, numbered 1030 and ordered published by the unanimous vote of the members of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 18th day of December, 1957.
