ORDINANCE NO. 1047

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY IN BENTON CANON'S FIRST SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

 

 WHEREAS, the vacation of the alley hereinafter described would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof and would be beneficial to the interest of the public:

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 That the alley hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby, vacated.

 

That alley bounded on the West by Lots 6-10, both inclusive, in Block 2 in Benton Canon's First Subdivision in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, on the North by Fourth Avenue in the City of Grand Junction; on the East by Lot 11 in Block 2 of said Subdivision; and on the South by an east-west alley splitting Block 2 in the said Subdivision; all as appears on a plat thereof.

 

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of July, 1958.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1047, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 2nd day of July, 1958, and that the same was published in The Morning Sun, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
