ORDINANCE NO. 1062

 

AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING UNAPPROPRIATED FUNDS WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION TO THE AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION FUND AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

 

 WHEREAS, question has arisen concerning appropriation of monies budgeted by the City for construction at the City-County Airport; and,

 

 WHEREAS, it is desirable from an auditing standpoint to clarify such budget and appropriation;

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 1. That there be appropriated, and the same hereby is appropriated, from unappropriated funds within the General Fund of the City of Grand Junction the sum of Eighty One Thousand Six Hundred Ninety Two Dollars ($81,692.00) to the Airport Construction Fund.

 

 2. It is hereby declared that a special emergency exists; that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety; and that this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.

 

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this tenth day of December, 1958.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing emergency ordinance, entitled, "AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING UNAPPROPRIATED FUNDS WITHIN THE GENERAL FUND OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION TO THE AIRPORT CONSTRUCTION FUND AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY," was introduced, read, passed and adopted as an emergency ordinance, numbered 1062 and ordered published by the unanimous vote of the members of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, at a regular adjourned meeting of said Council held on the 10th day of December, 1958.
