ORDINANCE NO. 1080

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 83 OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES

OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO,

AND THE ZONING MAP INCLUDED THEREIN AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That Section 1 of Chapter 83 of the 1953 Compiled Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, and the zoning map accompanying said ordinance, be, and it is hereby amended by designating the districts and changing the boundary lines so that:

Block 1, Block 4 and beginning at a point 25 feet East of the Southeast corner of Lot 9, Block 4, thence North 00 11' East 311.1 feet, thence South 89 54' East to the East line of Section 13, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute meridian, thence South along said East line of Section 13 to the Southeast corner of the Northeast quarter of the Northeast quarter of Section 13, thence West to the point of beginning, all being in Teller Arms Subdivision in Mesa County, Colorado

be classified as Residence A;

The South half of Block 3, Teller Arms Subdivision, Mesa County, Colorado

be classified as Residence B;

The North half of Block 3 and beginning at a point 10 feet South of the Southeast corner of Lot 9, Block 3, thence North 00 11' East 330.5 feet, thence South 89 54' East to the East line of Section 13, Township 1 South, Range 1 West, Ute Meridian, thence South along said East line of Section 13, 330.5 feet, thence North 89 54' West to the point of beginning, all being in Teller Arms Subdivision in Mesa County, Colorado

be classified as Residence C;

Blocks 5, 6 and 7 of Teller Arms Subdivision in the County of Mesa, Colorado

be classified as Business A;

Block 2 of Teller Arms Subdivision in the County of Mesa, Colorado

be classified as Business AR.

It is hereby declared that a special emergency exists; that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety; and that this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing emergency ordinance entitled AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 83 OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, AND THE ZONING MAP INCLUDED THEREIN AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY was introduced, read, passed and adopted as an emergency ordinance, number 1080 and ordered published by the unanimous vote of the members of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 17th day of June, 1959.
