ORDINANCE NO. 1107

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING AN ALLEY IN REGENTS SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

 

 WHEREAS, the alleyway hereinafter described is not being used for alley purposes; and,

 

 WHEREAS, the vacation thereof would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof and would be beneficial to the interest of the public;

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 That the alleyway hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby vacated.

 

Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 2, Block 4, Regents Subdivision, to the City of Grand Junction, thence South along the East line of said Lot 2, 124 feet, thence Northeasterly to a point on the West line of Lot 3 of said Subdivision which is 16 feet North of the Southwest corner of said Lot 3, thence North to the Northwest corner of said Lot 3, thence West to the point of beginning.

 

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of April, 1960.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1107 was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 6th day of April, 1960, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
