ORDINANCE NO. 1120

AN ORDINANCE VACATING STREETS AND ALLEYWAYS IN BLOCKS 1, 2, 3 AND 4, GARFIELD PARK SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

 WHEREAS, the streets and alleyways hereinafter described are not being used for street or alley purposes; and

 WHEREAS the vacation thereof would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof and would be beneficial to the interest of the public;

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 That the streets and alleyways located in the City of Grand Junction hereinafter described be, and the same are hereby, vacated.

 1  Hall Avenue between the east line of Cannell Avenue and the west line    of North 12th Street;

 2.  College Place between the north line of Mesa Avenue and the south    line of Orchard Avenue;

 3.  All alleyways formerly platted in Blocks 1, 2, 3 and 4, Garfield Park    Subdivision in the City of Grand Junction.

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of October, 1960.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1120, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 21st day of September, 1960, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
