ORDINANCE NO. 1121

 

AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING THE NAME OF PINYON STREET IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

 

 WHEREAS, within the city limits of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, Pinyon Street is spelled differently in various sections; and

 

 WHEREAS it is deemed advisable to have a common spelling for the single street in all sections of the City;

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 That Pinyon Street within the City of Grand Junction shall, throughout its length, be commonly spelled as “Pinyon” and that whatever changes are necessary to accomplish this be taken.

 

 PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 2nd day of November, 1960.

 I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1121, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 19th day of October, 1960, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
