ORDINANCE NO. 1130

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A STREET IN YOCUM (YOCKUM) SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

 

WHEREAS, the street hereinafter described is not being used for street purposes and has not been opened for such use; and

 

WHEREAS, the vacation thereof would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof; and would be beneficial to the interest of the public;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

That the street herein described be and the same is hereby vacated:

 

That street platted in Yocum (Yockum) Subdivision in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, which is described as beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 1 of said subdivision, thence South 89026' East 40 feet, thence South 262 feet, thence North 89026' West 40 feet, thence North 262 feet to the point of beginning, the same being bounded on the East by Lot 4 of said subdivision and on the West by Lots 1, 2 and 3 of said subdivision.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 17th day of May, 1961.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1130, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 3rd day of May, 1961, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
