ORDINANCE NO. 1142

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF ALLEY-WAY IN BLOCK 138 IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.

 

WHEREAS, the vacation of the portion of alley-way hereinafter described would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof and would be beneficial to the interest of the public;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

That the portion of alley-way hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby vacated.

 

That part of a North-South Alley in Block 138, City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, described as follows:

 

Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 10 in said Block 138, thence North along the East line of said Lot 10 to the Northeast corner of said Lot 10, thence East to the Northwest corner of Lot 11 in said Block 138, thence South along the West lines of Lots 11 through 15 in said Block 138 to the Southwest corner of Lot 15, thence West to the point of beginning.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of December, 1961.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1142, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 4th day of October, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
