ORDINANCE NO. 1149

 

AN ORDINANCE VACATING THIRD STREET, SOUTH OF SOUTH AVENUE IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.

 

WHEREAS, the vacation of a portion of the street hereinafter described would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or any of the inhabitants thereof; and would be beneficial to the interest of the public;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

That the street herein described be and the same is hereby vacated.

 

That part of Third Street South of South Avenue in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, described as follows:

 

Beginning at the Northwest Corner of Lot 1 Block 163, City of Grand Junction thence South to the Southwest Corner of said Lot 1, thence West to the Southeast corner, Lot 16 Block 164, City of Grand Junction, thence North to the Northeast corner of said Lot 16, thence East to the Point of Beginning.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of February, 1962.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1149, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 17th day of January, 1962, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
