ORDINANCE NO. 1150

AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF ALLEY-WAY IN WILSON'S SUBDIVISION OF BLOCK NO. 2, MOBLEY'S ADDITION TO GRAND JUNCTION, MESA COUNTY, COLORADO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the vacation of the portion of alley-way hereinafter described would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof and would be beneficial to the interest of the public;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

Section 1. That the portion of alley-way hereinafter described be, and the same is hereby, vacated.

Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 12 of Wilson's Subdivision of Block No. 2 Mobley's Addition to Grand Junction, thence West 13 feet, thence North to a point 13 feet West and 8 feet South of the Northwest corner of Lot 7 of said Subdivision, thence Northeasterly to a point on the West line of Lot 5 of said Subdivision which point is 8 feet South of the Northeast corner of said Lot 5, thence South to the point of beginning, Mesa County, Colorado.

Section 2. It is hereby declared that a special emergency exists; that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health and safety; that this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing emergency ordinance entitled "AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF ALLEY-WAY IN WILSON'S SUBDIVISION OF BLOCK NO. 2, MOBLEY'S ADDITION TO GRAND JUNCTION, MESA COUNTY, COLORADO, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY," was introduced, read, passed and adopted as an emergency ordinance, numbered 1150 and ordered published by the unanimous vote of the members of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 7th day of March, 1962.
