ORDINANCE NO. 1185

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONE MAP A PART OF CHAPTER 83 OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That the zoning map which is a part of Chapter 83 of the 1953 Compiled Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, be, and it hereby is, changed so that the zoning for the following described property be as follows:

That part of the Southeast Quarter Southeast Quarter Southeast Quarter of Section 12, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian which lies north of a line 330 feet north of the south line of said Southeast Quarter Southeast Quarter Southeast Quarter; also being at the Southeast corner of Lot 8, Block 2 Houlton's Second Re-Subdivision, thence north 45 degrees 13 minutes east 112.3 feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 11 of said Block 2, thence east 250 feet, more or less, to the east line of said Section 12, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian, thence south to the Northeast corner of the East half of the Southeast Quarter Southeast Quarter Southeast Quarter of said Section 12, thence west to the Northwest corner of said East half, thence north to the south line of Houlton's Second Re-Subdivision, thence East 1.57 feet, more or less, to the point of beginning,

be classified as zone district C-1:

the zone district being as provided under said Chapter.

It is hereby declared that a special emergency exists; that this ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, and safety; and that this ordinance shall take effect upon its passage.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of February, 1964.

I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT THE FOREGOING EMERGENCY ORDINANCE, entitled AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING MAP A PART OF CHAPTER 83 OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRANT JUNCTION, COLORADO, BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY was introduced, read, passed and adopted as an emergency ordinance, numbered 1185 and ordered published by the unanimous vote of the members of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 19th day of February, 1964.
