ORDINANCE NO. 1200

AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE ZONING MAP, A PART OF CHAPTER 83 OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND UNCTION, COLORADO, BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN SAID CITY.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That the zoning map which is a part of Chapter 83 of the Compiled Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, be and it hereby is, changed so that the zoning classifications for the following described property within said City be as follows:

A. Lots 1 through 17 in Block 1, Lots 1 through 16 in Block 2, and Lots 1 through 16 in Block 3, all in the City of Grand Junction, be classified as C-1 (Light Commerce).

B. Block 2 in Teller Arms Subdivision be classified as B-3 (Retail Business), Lots 1, 2 and 3 in Block 1 in Teller Arms Subdivision be classified as B-3 (Retail Business). Lots 4 through 7 in Block 1 in Teller Arms Subdivision be classified as R-3 (Multi-family residence).

C. Lot 2 of Block 1 in Fairmount Subdivision be classified as R-3 (Multi-family residence).

D. All that part of the North Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 11, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian, Mesa County, Colorado, lying East of the center line of North 7th Street in the City of Grand Junction, except the West 450 feet of said tract, be classified as R-3 (Multi-family residence).

The zoning categories being as provided under said Chapter.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of September, 1964.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1200, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 2nd day of September, 1964, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
