ORDINANCE NO. 1212
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF CHAPTER 15 OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE CITY MANAGER SHALL ESTABLISH THE FEES AND CHARGES FOR THE USE OF LINCOLN PARK AND MOYER POOLS AND FACILITIES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:
1. That Section 5 of Chapter 15 of the 1953 Compiled Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended to read as follows:
Section 5. Determination of Charges. - The City Manager, with the approval of the City Council, shall set the charges for the use of the pools, the rental of towels, and the use of other facilities or services provided by the City in connection with the pools.
2. That this Ordinance is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health land safety, and shall take effect upon its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing emergency ordinance, entitled AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF CHAPTER 15 OF THE 1953 COMPILED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE CITY MANAGER SHALL ESTABLISH THE FEES AND CHARGES FOR THE USE OF LINCOLN PARK AND MOYER POOLS AND FACILITIES AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY was introduced, read, passed and adopted as an emergency ordinance, numbered 1212 and ordered published by the unanimous vote of the members of the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 5th day of May, 1965.
