ORDINANCE NO. 1214

 

 AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF STREETS  IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

 WHEREAS, the vacation of the portion of streets hereinafter described would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof, and would be beneficial to the interest of the public;

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

 THAT the portions of streets described as follows:

 

 Beginning at a point on the produced west line of Spruce Street, in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, said point being 10.0 feet south of the produced north line of Colorado Avenue; thence North 89o 52' East 10.0 feet south of and parallel to the produced north line of Colorado Avenue 42.54 feet; thence South 41o03' East 92.5 feet to the produced south line of Colorado Avenue; thence South 89o 52' West along the produced south line of Colorado Avenue 103.11 feet to the produced west line of Spruce Street; thence North 00o 10' West along the produced west line of Spruce Street 70.0 feet to the point of beginning,

 

 be, and the same hereby are, vacated.

 

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 7th day of July, 1965.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1214, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 23rd day of June, 1965, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
