ORDINANCE NO. 1216

   AN ORDINANCE VACATING A PORTION OF 11TH

   STREET IN THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION

 WHEREAS, the vacation of the portion of street hereinafter described would not result in any hardship to the City of Grand Junction or the inhabitants thereof, and would be beneficial to the interest of the public;

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 That the portion of 11th Street described as follows:

 Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 17, Block 14 Milldale Subdivision, in the City of Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, thence East 40 feet, thence North to a point 40 feet West of the Northwest corner of Lot 1, Block 15 Milldale Subdivision, thence East to said Northwest corner of Lot 1, thence South to the Southwest corner of Lot 34 of said Block 15, thence West to the Southeast corner of Lot 17, Block 14 of Milldale Subdivision, thence North to the point of beginning, be, and the same hereby is, vacated.

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of August, 1965.
