ORDINANCE NO. 1224

 

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 12 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO, BY ADDING THERETO A SECTION 10, COVERING THE OPERATION OF GASOLINE PUMPS WITHIN THE CITY

 

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

 

That Chapter 12 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Grand Junction be amended by adding thereto a Section 10 which shall read as follows:

 

12-10. Regulation of dispensing of gasoline.

 

All pumps or other mechanical measuring devices used for the retail sale or dispensing of gasoline in the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, shall be securely locked so that no fluid can be drawn therefrom except when the operation of said pump or device is by an attendant. No coin operated or other type self-service device for the dispensing of gasoline shall be allowed.
