ORDINANCE NO. 1232

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO

WHEREAS, George O. Bosma and Fanchon Bosma have presented to the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, a petition to annex to said City the property hereinafter described, and

WHEREAS, they are the owners of 100 per cent of the property proposed to be annexed, and said property is eligible for annexation under the statutory requirements of the State of Colorado;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following property, situate in Mesa County, Colorado, to-wit:

Beginning at the South Quarter corner of Section 2, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian, thence North 30 feet, thence West to a point 30 feet North and 173 feet West of the Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 2, thence North 361 feet, thence North 75° 02' East 175.3 feet, thence North to the Northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter, thence West to a point 346.5 feet East of the West line of said Section 2, thence South 67° 28' West to said West line, thence South to the Southwest corner of said Section 2, thence East to the point of beginning,

be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the City of Grand Junction.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 1966.
