ORDINANCE NO. 1243
AN ORDINANCE DISCONNECTING A TRACT OF LAND FROM THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO
WHEREAS, LEE A. PEASE and THELMA M. PEASE have petitioned the City Council for the disconnection of lands owned by them from the City of Grand Junction, said lands having been recently annexed to the City; and
WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the Council that the best interests of the City will not be prejudiced by the detachment of such tract, and the requirements of Chapter 139-20-1, 1963 Colorado Revised Statutes are met;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:
That the following described land, situate in Mesa County, Colorado, to-wit:
Beginning at the Northwest corner of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 12, Township 1 South, Range 1 West of the Ute Meridian thence East 209 feet, thence, South 418 feet, thence West 209 feet, thence North 418 feet to the point of beginning
be and the same hereby is detached from the City of Grand Junction.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 2ND DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1966.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1243, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 19th day of October, 1966, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
