ORDINANCE NO. 1297

 

 AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING MONIES FROM THE CAPITAL RESERVE FUND AND THE OPERATING CAPITAL FUND OF THE GENERAL FUND TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND OF THE AIRPORT FUND AND APPROPRIATING SUCH MONIES FOR EXPENDITURE.

 

 WHEREAS, an unforeseen contingency has arisen requiring the repair of the main runway at Walker Field, the airport operated by the City of Grand Junction and the County of Mesa, State of Colorado, and such contingency requires tile appropriation of funds for such repair;

 

 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

 That there be transferred from Budget Account 141.31-901, the Capital Reserve Fund of the General Fund, the sum of $10,000.00 and from Budget Account No. 141.19-011, the Operating Capital Fund of the General Fund, the sum of $2,000.00 to Budget Account No. 061.31-901 and Budget Account No. 061.31-902, said accounts being the Airport Fund Capital Improvement Accounts; and said transferred monies, together with the monies previously in said accounts, are hereby appropriated for payment for the reconstruction of the main runway at Walker Field.

 

 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of November, 1968.
