ORDINANCE NO. 1303

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION COLORADO

WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of January, 1969, the City Council of the City of Grand Junction considered a petition for the annexation of the following described territory to the City of Grand Junction; and

WHEREAS, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation and that no election was necessary to determine whether such territory should be annexed as the petition was signed by the owners of one hundred per cent of the territory petitioned for annexation;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO:

That the following described territory, to-wit:

Beginning at a point which is thirty feet East of the Northwest Corner of Section 11, T1S, R1W of the Ute Meridian, thence South 00° 07' East 480.0 feet to the South right-of-way line of Park Drive, thence continuing along said right-of-way East 466.0 feet, thence 453.7 feet along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 152.53 feet (the chord bears North 04° 47' East 304.0 feet), thence 109.05 feet along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 258.0 feet, (the chord bears North 65° 36' West 108.24 feet), thence 84.04 feet along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 90 feet (the chord bears North 26° 45' West 81.02 feet), thence North 60.0 feet more or less to the North line of Section 11, T1S, R1W, of the Ute Meridian, thence West 357.3 feet more or less to the point of beginning,

be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 15th day of January, 1969.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1303, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 2nd day of January, 1969, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
