ORDINANCE NO. 1321

 

AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING MONIES TO SUPPLEMENT COUNCIL BUDGETED SALARIES

 

WHEREAS, at the general municipal election the citizens of Grand Junction voted to increase the salaries of the Councilmen of the City, and

 

WHEREAS, this unforeseen contingency requires the appropriation of monies to provide such increase;

 

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

 

That there be transferred from Operating Capital Account No. 141.19-00 the sum of $3,480.00 to Payroll Account No. 001.02-000, said sum to be appropriated for and used for the increased salaries voted.

 

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of June, 1969.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1321, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 4th day of June, 1969, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
