ORDINANCE NO. 1325 (County Shops & 1 Blk So to Struthers Ave)

AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION, COLORADO.

WHEREAS, on the 2nd day of July, 1969, a hearing was held before the City Council of the City of Grand Junction to determine the eligibility for annexation to the City of the territory hereinafter described; and

WHEREAS, after said hearing, the City Council determined that said territory was eligible for annexation, that all of the requirements of the Municipal Annexation Act of 1965 had been met, and that no election was required under the terms of said Act;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND JUNCTION:

That the following described territory, to-wit:

Beginning at a point on the Northeast Corner of Lot 6, Block 5 of Benton Cannon's First Subdivision Amended Section 23 T1S, R1W; thence Southerly along the East line of said Benton Cannon's First Subdivision Amended 930.30 feet to a point on the Southeast Corner of Lot 27, Block 12 of said Subdivision; thence West 369.34 feet along the North right-of-way line of Kimball Avenue to a point on the Southwest Corner of Lot 22, Block 11 of the Benton Cannon's First Subdivision Amended; thence North 390.00 feet to a point on the Northwest corner of Lot 11, Block 3 of said Benton Cannon's First Subdivision Amended said point also being the South right-of-way line of Crawford Avenue; thence East 393.10 feet along the south right-of-way line of Crawford Avenue to the point of beginning,

be, and the same is hereby, annexed to the City of Grand Junction, Colorado.

PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of July, 1969.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance, being Ordinance No. 1325, was introduced, read and ordered published by the City Council of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado, at a regular meeting of said body held on the 2nd day of July, 1969, and that the same was published in The Daily Sentinel, a newspaper published and in general circulation in said City at least ten days before its final passage.
